Sangeeth becomes Amrita TV's Kerala Superstar!
Sangeeth has become the Amrita TV's Kerala Superstar! Sangeeth managed to get a lead of more than 20000 votes over Job in the final voting! Interestingly lot of voting happened during the last 15 minutes or so. Due to the SMS flood, Amrita TV kept on extending the closing time for voting. It was finally closed at 10PM.
Superstar final was probably the most watched live event on Kerala television. It also generated close to 200,000 SMS messages not considering the duplicate votes. Kudos to Amrita TV for managing the event so well! There were some good stage performances and bringing all the previous contestants was a good touch.
Job didn't sing too many Malayalam songs. Probably that cost him the title! In fact at one point, Job had a lead over Sangeeth.
Amrita TV knows how to capitalise on the super star hype. They will be doing a Junior super star show soon. It is going to be good fun! I just hope they change the Anchor lady :)

Hearty Congrats Sangeet ! You are too humble dude. And Job, you should form a rock band, Sing some Scorpions, Def Leppard and GN'R numbers. Malayalam and hindi arent meant for you dude. Try some Eagles also if you like. Sing with a Guitar and Harmonica like Bob Dylan. You sung Elton's number very nicely.

deepak how can u say that job cant sing hindi songs?
wht abt teri deewani,mera kashmir,zindagi,tu hi tu,dum,chowdni ka chand etc? he can also sing malayalam songs his kaneer

well.. what a rush..superstar is finally over ...
and congrats to sangeeth
i live in kuwait... and the excitement here was overwhelming.
ppl on the streets were waiting for the result just as if it was a cricket match.
i had tution on the final.. so was watching it in the house of the tution teacher..she too loved it ... have to say ... lotta job fans here... but me sangeeth... if the show was a more national event... job would have won... but choosing ahindi song for the final is a bad idea... sangeeth who i was suprised at for winning knew how to make the audience fall for his gimmicks ....*he was even sick for a whole week*.... but the final songs were a blast ... missed bhalabakaran at the final weeks .... cant wait for junior superstar
